The Project

Rachel represented unaccompanied minors in removal proceedings. This project provides free legal representation to unaccompanied kids in removal proceedings who cannot afford a lawyer and would otherwise be representing themselves against federal lawyers in immigration court. Having a lawyer makes all the difference for these kids: they are significantly more likely to win their cases if they are represented. For children fleeing life-threatening violence in their home countries, having a lawyer is paramount.
