Highlights to Date:
In the first year, Lindsay has: • Assisted 26 Veterans with a divorce from their spouse; • Filed expungements on behalf of 25 Veterans, so that they may improve their prospects for employment with a cleaner record; • Advocated for 22 Veterans in eviction court, helping to keep them in their homes;
In the next year, Lindsay plans to: • Keep Veterans from becoming homeless, by preventing and assisting Veterans with evictions and foreclosures; • Provide valuable expungement clinics so that even more Veterans may expunge all eligible criminal charges from their records, broadening the employment opportunities available to them; • Advocate on behalf of Veterans in the Family Court, so those who are unable to afford representation have their needs and the needs of their families are addressed;
