Pro Bono Week 2010

October 25, 2010 Last year, the ABA Standing Committee on Pro Bono and Public Service, along with several national public interest and nonprofit organizations, celebrated the first annual Pro Bono Week.  Pro Bono week was conceived to help meet the growing needs of the country's most vulnerable citizens by encouraging and supporting efforts to expand the delivery of pro bono legal services.  The ABA launched this important initiative because of the increasing need for pro bono services during these harsh economic times.
